Why Sunday School ?

SUNDAY SCHOOL CARRIES OUT THE GREAT COMMISSION

The church that builds on Sunday School is strengthened because the Sunday School is where teaching the Bible is prevalent.  Building a strong Bible teaching Sunday School will bring glory and honor to God because we are being obedient to his commission. 

BECAUSE IT TEACHES GOD'S WORD SYSTEMATICALLY

Preaching in the morning service, training classes and children's church programs are more motivational than instructional.  That is why regular Sunday School attendance is so important for every believer so that he or she might gain as much knowledge of Bible content and doctrine as possible.

SUNDAY SCHOOL PROVIDES GROWTH TOWARD MATURITY

Since there are no more Apostles or Prophets the work is left up to evangelist, pastors, and teachers.  Their job is to prepare the saints for the work of the ministry.

SUNDAY SCHOOL PROTECTS THE CHURCHES FUTURE

A Bible believing church is necessary to preserve a biblical church.  We have the challenge of developing future church leaders who will continue to lead us to grow and build until Jesus comes.  If we do not develop and build future leaders for the church, the church will not grow and with time it will die.
